My Approach
Counseling
Whether you are feeling burnt out from caregiving for a loved one, depleted from nonstop worrying, or uneasy during a life transition, please know that support awaits you.
My work is centered on shedding and understanding the mask we oftentimes present to society. Do you ever feel like you have to "be" a certain way around others to be accepted? What would it look like if you began to embody your true self openly? By incorporating mindfulness, behavioral, and psychodynamic practices, my hope is to help you grow your self-awareness and self-acceptance as you become more aligned with your true self.
Individual/Family Grief Counseling
Do you have an aging loved one with memory issues, such as Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia? Are you finding it difficult to communicate with your loved one as their personality changes and their memory fades? Are you feeling burnt out from the stress of caregiving for your precious loved one?
My work with individuals and families is grounded in providing a safe space for you to process the feelings---such as grief, depression, and stress---that may arise as your loved one changes. I also help individuals and families communicate in healthy ways with each other and with their aging loved one through these trying times.
Help is awaiting you.
“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step.”
– Mariska Hargitay
